Some say Buck changed after he was shot in Holland, maybe. But I know something happened to him when he saw Toye and Guarnere. On the report it said Compton was being taken off the line due to a bad case of trench foot. It didn't say anything about him losing his friends... I guess he just couldn't take seeing his friends all torn up like that. Nobody thought less of him for it.
